Sonic Blasting Iron Man 3 Action Figure Review

I have to admit that until the other half recently dragged me to the cinema to watch the brand new Iron Man 3 movie I had no idea who the red and gold clad super hero was, yes slap my wrists but I have never been a comic girl so Marvel had passed me by, well until I realised what I’d been missing – the film is awesome! Luckily the same can’t be said for the Monster or his daddy, in fact I’m not sure who was more excited when we were asked to take a look at the Sonic Blasting Iron Man 3 action figure.

Astronaut Super Soaking Water Blaster Review

Monster absolutely loves being outdoors and with the sun making a guest appearance over the bank holiday weekend there was no excuses not to head out to the garden and check out the Astronaut Space Pack Water Blaster that he’d recently been sent by Maps Toys.

This super soaking water blaster is by far one of the coolest water blasters I have ever seen and featuring a super cute back pack or should I say ‘Space Pack’ which has the capacity to hold a lot more water than your average water blaster along with a lightweight water gun which with the touch of a trigger can shoot water in two directions you’ll certainly need to run fast to get out of its 30ft shooting range!

Little Poppets Mouse’s Sock Tree Review

Monster was recently sent a very cute little book entitled Little Poppets Mouse’s Sock Tree to take a peek at and it’s vintage look and small world feel took me right back to me own childhood where the Sylvanian Families were strife.

The brand new Little Poppets book follows the tale of a super cute mouse that wakes up one day to discover a sock tree growing in the garden. Mouse and his equally cute friends; Mole, Rose and Pippin really believe that this magical tree is gowning socks and even pants but as it turns out the wind had blown away next door washing which has got caught up in the tree.

Drayton Manor Hotel and Theme Park Review

There is nothing we love more in the Monster household then downing tools from our ultra busy lifestyle and spending some quality family time together so when we were given the opportunity to take a trip to visit Monsters train idol, Thomas the Tank, and stay over at the beautiful looking Drayton Manor Hotel I don’t think I could have said “yes please” any faster.

We paid a visit to the Drayton Manor theme park which is Home of Thomas Land last year in fact you can see our review here, but unfortunately daddy Monster was too busy at work to come with us so this time we couldn’t wait to revisit as a family

I did mention last year that the park or more particularly Thomas Land was a little bit manic during the height of the summer season but that couldn’t have been further from the case during our visit on a sunny Monday in April. The park was lovely and quiet meaning that we barely qued for anything which was brilliant especially with a 2 ½ year old explorer of a toddler on our hands.

LittleLife Animal Poncho Towel Review and Competition

Thanks to a combination of living by the seaside and a daddy who manages a swimming pool Monster has always had a love of water and whilst I enjoy taking the little man for a dip in the sea or a dunk in the pool getting him changed afterwards is a huge pain. Not only does his bulky towel take up lots of space in the locker or at the bottom of the pushchair it also drags on the floor causing it to soak up the sand and water like an over enthusiastic mop rendering it pretty much useless for the actual drying process it was intended for!
