Whit woo one stunningly stylish and sophisticated highchair has just landed on planet Cosatto and it goes by the name of the the Trof.
Now when even the relatively small box oozes colour and style you know that there is a beautiful product inside screaming to be unpacked and shown off to the world so what are we waiting for?

It’s no secret that monster loves his food so even the mere mention of the word highchair had him clinging to the box in anticipation of a tasty treat. Much persuasion and a custard cream later I’d managed to extract him from the box and take a peek inside. I won’t lie when I say the sight of the pieces sent a dreaded feeling to my very core, after all my DIY skills are legendary within my family and that is most definitely not a good version of legendary!
With a little help from the monster we emptied out the pieces onto the kitchen table and dug out the instructions. As you can see even at 20 months the dude understands that mummy’s DIY skills are poor so he decided to take a peek at the instructions for himself.

I was delighted to discover that putting the Trof highchair together was nowhere near as difficult as I first thought; in fact I would say it was a pretty easy task. No cross words were spoken between daddy monster and I and everything ended up the right way round which is always a bonus. A mere 15 minutes later and the stylish superstar highchair was standing proudly in my kitchen and waiting to be examined.

Firstly I must admit that the Trof is the most beautiful highchair I have ever seen and believe me I’ve seen a fair few in the past 18 months. The bright apple inspired orange seat liner provides an excellent contrast to the dark solid wood giving the Trof a very cool retro feel whilst the polished steel fittings give this stylish chap a funky modern twist making the highchair a beautiful feature to any dining room.
No matter how utterly stunning a product is in order to impress this mummy it has to be both practical and functional too and the Trof is all those things and so much more. With a solid crossbar base this funky highchair is as solid as a house and whilst this means that the Trof is neither foldable nor easily portable it does ensure maximum safety and anyway who would want to hide this stylish diva from the world?

Thanks to the Trofs strong, solid wooden back and comfy padded liner my little monster not only loves being in his fabulous new highchair but I’ve also noticed a great improvement in his posture whilst he is munching away which pleases me no end. The five point orange safety harness ensurs that the little man stays put at all times which the fact that the harness is super easy to adjust means that I can quickly change the lengths of the straps to fit my nephew when he pops over for a spot of lunch. The harness also sports a pair of stylish chest pads ensuring maximum comfort at all times- now that’s what I call luxury.

The Cosatto Trof has many other fantastic features such as a 360 swivel allowing me to position the little man so that he can see me wherever I am in the room and more importantly allowing me to keep an eye on the little terror so I can try and spot him before he pours his breakfast cereal into the easily removable orange tray so he can play ’boats’ with his Cheerios again. Luckily for me the bright orange insert can be taken off to wash leaving the solid wooden tray in place otherwise there would have been milk everywhere!

Another brilliant feature is the gas assisted lift allowing the seat unit to be position anywhere between 39cm and 61cm ensuring that the highchair is suitable for a variety of different situations. This combined with the easily removable tray allows your little monster to participate in up the table feeds ensuring that they always feel part of the family during meal times.
It is easy to see why the Cosatto Trof has recently been awarded a Junior design award for the Best designed Highchair 2012 as this little fellow is exquisite beyond belief and really is one of those fabulous products that had to be seen to be truly appreciated. Designed for monsters aged from 6 months the recommended retail price tag of £300 may initially seem a little pricy this highchair should be seem as an investment that thanks to its superb quality and stylish design will not only last but will also look good for years to come

The Cosatto Trof comes with a 4 year manufactures guarantee and can be purchased from an extensive list of stockists.
