Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past few months you will know that this summer Britain is going to be the place to be.
What with the Queens Jubilee not to mention the Olympic set to hit town the British summer is ready to ooze style.
Clarks Kids have taken these British influences and created a super trendy collection of shoes for both boys and girls alike. From strappy sandals to soft canvas shoes and cupsoles there’s a shoe to suit even the fussiest of monsters.
With the exciting British summer in mind Clarks Kids have combined brilliant reds with cool blues and clean whites and thrown in a bit English country garden floral into the mix just for good measure
The talented designers have combined neutral tones and distressed materials to ensure that these are the prettiest shoes that will be pounding the pavements this sumer. Don’t worry though whilst they may be pretty they are also designed to be ultra-comfy for those precious monster feet!

We took Charlie and his big cousin, Lexi, to our local store in Scarborough to check out the collection in the flesh.
We visited the small store on a very bust Saturday morning and were welcomed by the lovely staff who pointed out the ticket system which is in place to ensure everybody gets seen to no matter how manically busy they are.

Lexi and mummy Amy spoke with a member off staff who pointed them in the direction of the brand new spring/summer collection. Lexis little eyes lit up at the vast array of glittery, girly shoes and then she spotted what all children want – the enticing flashing lights.
The girly monster was instantly attracted to some patent purple shoes which unfortunately the store didn’t have in her size however the lovely assistant offered to bring down a selection of the shoes that they did have squirrelled away in their stock room.

Lexi was very forth coming in wanting to try on the pretty shoes but didn’t seem all that impressed with the range that they had. She tried on some boots, some shiny black shoes along with a pair of summer pumps however this little princess knew that she wanted, the pretty purple ones, so the assistant explained the on-line ordering on line and order in-store processes and we decided to order them into store. It was a super-fast and easy transaction and by the following Tuesday I had received a text and a phone call to confirm that her shoe of choice was sat waiting for collection.

This was another very pleasant visit to the Scarborough store and it was great to see the collection in all its glory.
